Day Tours
Lake Bled is one of the most attractive sites in Slovenia and offers great conditions for active visitors all year round.
We’ll pick you up in the morning at your hotel and take a 40-minute drive towards the Alps to Lake Bled. On the way, if the skies are clear, you can enjoy the scenic landscapes of the Julian and Kamnik Alps. As we arrive, we’ll warm up at one of the entrance points on the lake enjoying the views of the Bled Castle perched atop a steep cliff rising 130 meters above the lake and the surrounding mountains. If needed we’ll give you an introductory SUP course, if you have paddle boarded before we’ll take an easy paddle around the lake with a sight-seeing stop at the idyllic island complete with a church at its heart.[showhide type=” bled” more_text=” Read more” less_text=”Hide” hidden=”yes”]A coffee, potica (Slovenian traditional cake that comes with various conventional fillings), or a refreshing smoothie will give us an energy boost to complete our paddling trip without a hassle. Afterward, we’ll ascend to the Bled castle, the oldest castle in Slovenia, for a delicious lunch with breathtaking views of the lake and the area. In the afternoon we’ll take a 10-minute drive to the Bled Vintgar to take a walk (and lots of photos) through the scenic gorge to the waterfall. It is a sin to leave Bled without tasting the original Bled Cream Cake and we have already made reservations, so we will have to give in to temptation. We’ll return to your hotel in the evening.

Lake Bohinj is the complete opposite of Lake Bled. Untouched, pristine, and serene. Located right at the foot of the Julian Alps it offers fantastic conditions for numerous activities in any season.
We’ll pick you up in the morning at your hotel and take a one-hour drive towards Lake Bohinj. On the way, we’ll pass Lake Bled, and maybe stop for a coffee and spectacular views of the lake, Bled island, and the castle. Shortly afterward we’ll arrive at Lake Bohinj located in Triglav National Park (named after Mount Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia). We take a paddle across the lake to the mouth of the emerald-green Savica River, the water source of the lake. [showhide type=”bohinj” more_text=”Read more” less_text=”Hide” hidden=”yes”]After lunch at the best fish restaurant around we’ll take a short hike up the mountain path climbing the 557 stairs to the Savica Waterfall. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Alpine Dairy Farming Museum to take a look back in the past through the history of herding and alpine dairy farming in Bohinj as a way of life and coexistence with nature in an alpine environment. We’ll return to Ljubljana in the evening, picking up some famous Bled cream cakes on the way through Bled.

Vogel above the lake for skiing/snowboarding/cross-country skiing in winter or refreshing high-altitude hiking in other seasons. The Soča River is world-famous for its emerald-green color that comes from melting limestone in the river’s upper stream. The Soča River is mostly praised by kayakers who come from all over the world to dare their wild rapids in the upper stream. But there is a part of it that is almost still, like a lake, and that’s where we – suppers – go to enjoy her charms.
We’ll pick you up in the morning and take a one-hour drive towards Bohinjska Bistrica to catch the morning car train to the Soča valley. A 10-minute ride in complete darkness through the 100-year-old tunnel will wake you up if the stunning views of Lake Bled that we passed on the way failed to do the trick. Arriving at Most na Soči we’ll explore The Soča and Idrijca Rivers. After paddling we’ll take a 30-minute hike to a hidden place in the hills to taste the traditional cuisine. On the way down we’ll visit the Tolmin Gorges – an emerald-green canyon about two hundred meters long and only a few meters wide. [showhide type=”soca” more_text=”Read more” less_text=”Hide” hidden=”yes”]After lunch, we’ll visit the Kobarid Museum which displays exhibits on the events that occurred during World War One on the Soška front (Isonzo Front) were one of the major battles in hilly terrain in the history of mankind took place. Ernest Hemingway served there as an ambulance driver and depicted the softer side of the battle in his famous work A Farewell To Arms. We’ll return to your hotel by late evening.

Piran, a tiny coastal town, built in a Venetian style with colorful, narrow stone-built houses and a labyrinth of even narrower streets, is one of Slovenia’s greatest attractions. From spring till autumn it welcomes you to explore its picturesque coastline from the water. In winter it is a perfect getaway from the colder climate in other Slovenia regions.
In the morning we’ll pick you up at the hotel and take an hour-long drive to the Coast. After a coffee, at Tartini square, we’ll take an easy paddle around the town of Piran. From there we’ll carry on to the Salt Pans of Sečovlje where the symbiosis between man and nature is marked by a centuries-old tradition of salt-making. If we are lucky, we will be able to catch a glimpse of some of the 272 bird species nesting in the surrounding wetlands. In the afternoon, we relax in Piran – have a swim or explore the narrow streets, numerous galleries, and cafés of the 1500-year-old city of Piran. We’ll return to your hotel in the late evening.

Ljubljana – Slovenia’s capital and The Green Capital of Europe offers an exceptional range of experiences all year round. Its charming, lively Old Town will take your breath away and the proximity of other destinations around Slovenia will make it easy to get the most out of your stay.
In the morning we’ll pick you up at your hotel and take you to the Ljubljanica River. We’ll paddle upstream and soon find ourselves in the peaceful atmosphere of the marshes of Ljubljana. We’ll follow the path of the Argonauts who, according to the celebrated Greek legend, in the search of the Golden Fleece, sailed from the Black Sea all the way to the spring of the Ljubljanica River. The Kolpa River canyon is one of the remotest places in Slovenia. Untouched and tranquil, it is a perfect getaway for busy souls, even for a day. The best season to visit is from spring to autumn.
In the morning we’ll pick you up at your hotel and take a two-hour drive through the picturesque landscape of the Dolenjska region. Depending on the water level and your paddling skills we’ll choose the most suitable section of the river. We’ll paddle with the flow, surrounded by wild nature on both sides of the river … passing old water mills, some small dams, and even easy rapids if we are lucky. In the late afternoon, we’ll drive to Metlika – the heart of one of the three of Slovenia’s wine regions for a wine-tasting evening at the most awarded white wine producer in Slovenia. We’ll return to Ljubljana in the late evening hours.
