  • December 28: Arrival in Ljubljana

We organize a transfer for you from the airport to your hotel in Ljubljana. After your check-in, you have some time to relax or explore the lively streets of the Old Town. We meet later on for the welcome dinner in order to introduce ourselves and discuss the tour over some good food.
  • December 29: Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj

In the morning, we take a short drive to the nearby Lake Bohinj located in Triglav National Park (named after Mount Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia). We take a paddle across Lake Bohinj to the mouth of the emerald-green Savica River, the water source of the lake. After lunch, we drive to the nearby Lake Bled where the paddle takes us around the lake with a sight-seeing stop at the idyllic island complete with a church at its heart. We then have dinner at one of the best restaurants on the lake. In the evening we return to Ljubljana for the night.
  • December 30: Piran coast

After breakfast we drive to Piran. We take a morning paddle around the historic city of Piran and (in case of calm seas) visit the salt-pans of Sečovlje where the symbiosis between man and nature is marked with centuries-old tradition of salt-making. After lunch at one of the best restaurants around we take some time off to relax in Piran – explore the narrow streets, numerous galleries and cafés of the 1500-year-old city. In the evening we head back to Ljubljana with a stop for a dinner on our way.
  • December 31: New year's Eve in Ljubljana

After breakfast we take a paddle through the Old Town of Ljubljana, experiencing the city from a totally diferent perspective. After a warming cup of tea your private tourist guide takes you for a sight-seeing walk through the Old Town - from the Roman Emona to the Laibach of the middle ages, all the way to present day Ljubljana. The tour concludes with lunch with the view at the renowned restaurant at Ljubljana Castle. The afternoon is off for wandering the streets of Ljubljana and preparations for the New Year's Eve celebration. We meet again for late dinner to sum up the impressions and get in the mood for the open-air celebration in the Old Town.
